It is difficult to find words sufficient enough to encompass the absolutely top class experience I had with Hsiao Law. I met Amy’s team at one of the many free seminars she hosts. It was a thorough and succinct introduction to some of the key points one would need for Trust/Will/Estate planning. Amy is extremely generous in various commitment free, no financial obligation check-it-out Q&As. After a good friend completed her planning with Hsiao Law (passing my test), it was my turn. I am the nerd that reads everything. I am the fine tooth comb that wants to make sure I am signing off on exactly what I intend with no bizarre un-intended consequences. Amy patiently and completely answers my 9 million questions. Her team was always available. Their scheduling capabilities are dialed in (you get an email and text reminder and you get on Amy’s calendar within a day or two without having to worry about crucial knots being left untied). The entire team is very responsive and makes sure your questions are handled by the best in-house expert. Amy even took the time to review a trust package offered through my employer to compare what she could offer. I learned a TON ! Amy’s team made sure that I was comfortable with each nuance of my package. While I felt high-maintenance at times, all the staff were kind and gracious assuring me that this is indeed a serious endeavor and their job was to make sure it was to my liking. One of many items that made Hsiao Law stand out was the Legacy Interview. This is a video of you speaking to your children about your values, what you would want to tell them as they head off to college if you are sadly no longer there, and more. Who wouldn’t give anything to hear the wisdom of someone taken too early? Who ever thinks to capture these things now? I barely made it 2 seconds into said video before crumbling into tears. The final product with photos of my family’s life and video clips of crucial life milestones that I could speak to was absolutely breathtaking. A true legacy. I am confident that my trust/will paperwork is as ironclad as it can be. Amy educated me on various law changes and how each carefully chosen piece of specific wording can address future snafus. The availability of Amy’s team (and the network of other trust attorneys) for any future needs creates a full package of that exhale we all need to know that our families won’t be left in a lurch. Fantastic experience from start to finish. We thought the whole process was going to be complicated but Hsiao Law made it so easy. Amy and her staff are terrific! I had been procrastinating setting up my Trust and finally started the process with Amy. She is fantastic, readily available for my questions, provided videos to watch on my own and then met with me for questions, walked me thru the steps in as much detail as I needed, and delivered the promised items on time. From start to finish, it took 6 weeks to set up the Trust. I’m very happy with the services and highly recommend Amy and her team to anyone interested in establishing a Living Trust. You’re getting older and have some investments be it annuities, real estate, valuable collectibles, and you get that little twinge in your chest every time you hear about having a Living Trust, but with all the law firm choices you don’t know where to go. Hsiao Law not only provides a way to protect your assets but they also include every important aspect of what should be in place when you pass. I knew Amy a few years before I set up my Trust with Hsiao Law, and it was because of her heart and her expertise that chose to work with her law firm. They guided me through the steps necessary to get my accounts in order and helped with the complicated accounts. When we were finished I received a big binder, everything on a thumb drive, peace of mind.
